Eclissi is a powerful IGT red wine, from Sangiovese, Merlot and Colorino grapes.
It has strong ruby red colour, concentrated and consistent.
Its smell is rich and tempting which recalls wood berries flavour and very intense and pleasant balsamic notes of mint and eucalyptus.
At taste is full and powerful, with a remarkable and good persistence.
With its 13,5% vol. Eclissi is an excellent long-lasting wine suitable combining with strong taste, such as seasoned cheeses, game and red meat.
The uvage of Eclissi IGT is 60% Sangiovese, 35% Merlot, 5% Colorino, the ripening is done in Sessile Oak French barriques (also known as Durmast Oak), for at least 18 months.
