Extra-Virgin Olive Oil 2016: the harvest and the pressing

We have harvested the olives for the new oil here at Poggio al Bosco

After a hot summer and a mild Autumn, today we finish the harvest of our olives and tonight we will do the last trip to the oil mill in Tavarnelle.

Despite the threat of the white fly, Lorisse has vanquished the risk in our olive grove applying the organic treatments approved and we were able to make a great oil also this year.

With 0,27 acidity and an average return of 12% we could not be more satisfied of the result of the hard work done during the year in our grove.

The new oil is spicy, well-balanced and rich, with a deep green colour and an intense perfume.
