Today we talk about another IGT wine produced in our winery: the Lunatico IGT.
This white wine is an uvage of 50% Petit Manseng, 30% Chardonnay e 20% Viognier.
It is a fresh white wine suitable for aperitif wine but it matches also with cheeses and fish-based dishes.
The grapes are harvested, gathered and pressed under the protection of inert gas (dry ice).
The must is left to rest at cold temperature before starting the fermentation.
Alcoholic fermentation is done into inox tanks under controlled temperature (16° C) and then left on fine lees for 4 months. Light clarification with bentonite.
The bottling is done with thick filters therefore the wine is left refining in bottle for at least 3 months.
Lunatico IGT has brilliant straw yellow colour. It is characterized by a variety of aromas, from citrus notes to tropical fruit, with a pleasant plant aftertaste. It is fresh, tasty, with a mineral note and it has a good lingering.
